The disciplines of the 2020 Golden Gala

The Diamond League has announced the disciplines of each meeting of the major world athletics circuit. The next edition of the Golden Gala scheduled on 28th May 2020 features ten Diamond League disciplines, plus two “additional disciplines”, where athletes do not score points for the Zurich Diamond League final. The men’s disciplines of the 2020 Golden Gala are: 100m, 400m, 3000m, high jump and shot put, plus the non-scoring 3000m steeplechase. The women’s events are 1500m, 100m hurdles, pole vault, long jump and javelin throw plus the non-scoring 200 metres. The first leg of the 2020 Diamond League is scheduled on 17th April in Doha. The last qualifying meeting for the final is scheduled on 4th September in Brussels. The Diamond League final is scheduled on 11th September in Zurich in the evening, where winners will be crowned Diamond League champions.
