Bekele is injuried, he won’t compete in Rome

Sad news coming from Kenenisa Bekele. The Ethiopian champion communicated yesterday that he didn’t recover after the injury he suffered last winter. Therefore, he decided not to compete for the all month of June, withdrawing from the Diamond League legs of Oslo (4 June) and Rome (10 June). The Organizing Committee of the Golden Gala wishes to Bekele to be back on track as soon as possible, and waits for him to be in Rome in the next future.
