Rome: first training session for Usain Bolt

Jamaica’s Usain Bolt, triple Olympic champion, and world record holder at 100m, 200m and 4x100m, made his first training session in Rome, at the Olympic Stadium, where on Thursday, 31 May, he will run the 100m of the Compeed Golden Gala, third leg of the World circuit Samsung Diamond League. On that occasion, Bolt will face some of the best contenders in the World sprint scenario, as compatriot Asafa Powell, and France’s Christophe Lemaitre. With Usain Bolt, this afternoon at the Olympic Stadium, another top athlete already in the capital city of Italy: USA hurdler Lashinda Demus, who was a winner of the Compeed Golden Gala at 400hs in 2010.
