The Golden Gala at Rome's Stadio dei Marmi

The 2020 edition of the Golden Gala will be held on 17 September in the iconic scenario of the Stadio dei Marmi, in Rome. The white sculptures of the early XXth century venue (which is located just aside the Olympic Stadium) will be the perfect scenario for races of the of the Italian leg of the Wanda Diamond League circuit. Alfio Giomi, President of FIDAL, the Italian Athletics Federation (the Organizer of the event) announced the new location of the Golden Gala on May 27th. In the original 2020 Wanda Diamond League Calendar, the Golden Gala was scheduled on May 28 in Naples; the return to Rome, with the new date, are the consequences of the emergency due to the pandemic.
