The new addition to the programme of the 2015 edition of the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea will be an athletics and <link http: http. www.runcard.com external-link-new-window external link in new>Runcard party at the Stadio dei Marmi in the wonderful Parco del Foro Italico. The village will be open from 2nd to 4th June with an intense programme of initiatives focused on the world of running and disciplines like Trail, Nordic Walking and Fit Walking. A series of interesting seminars on nutrition, correct life-styles and sports facilities will be held. The three-day event will be dedicated to everyone and to people of all ages. Everyone will have the chance to try some athletics events, including running, jumping and throwing disciplines. There will be nice moments of entertainment dedicated to children and the possibility to attend the training sessions of the big stars of the Golden Gala from an absolutely priviledged perspective. On 3th June the runners will take part in the Alba Race, the non-competive 6km race which will start at dawn at the Marble Stadium and will finish inside the Olympic Stadium. For those who already have the Runcard there are special discounts for tickets to attend the Golden Gala. To take advantage of special prices you need to present the Runcard at the ticket office on the dayof the meeting until the promotional tickets are sold out.

You will contribute to an important initiative if you bring your worn-out or disused shoes or sneakers to the dedicated stand of the RunFest. The “track of Pietro” is the name of the important esosport project promoted by Roma Capitale in contribution with ACEA and GoGreen Onlus which aims at creating new tracks and surfaces for playground areas in the city parks by using the special mixture obtained from the rubber of the old shoes as flooring.
