Marcell Jacobs won't partecipate in the Golden Gala

Today Marcell Jacobs has undergone a medical examination in Rome, at the Medical Science Institute, after the muscle injury appeared last 23rd May, that highlighted that the athlete hasn’t completely recovered. FIDAL’s medical staff suggested to the athlete and his trainer Paolo Camossi to continue with a period of middle intensity trainings, in order to take part of the World Championship in Eugene and the European Championship in Monaco. This plan will impede to Jacobs the participation to some planed athletics events, starting from Golden Gala Pietro Mennea, expected on 9th June at the Olympic Stadium in Rome.
