Golden Gala: schedule of press conferences

A press conference with some of the most important athletes participating to the meeting, will be held on Wednesday 1 June at the Sheraton Roma Hotel (start time at 11:30am)

The list of athletes taking part in the pre-meeting press conferences on Wednesday 1 June at the Sheraton Roma Hotel (Viale del Pattinaggio, 100 - 00144 Roma) on the eve of the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea. A short introduction with the Organizing Committee (11:30 with the FIDAL President Alfio Giomi and the Meeting Director Luigi D’Onofrio) will be followed by the press conference with the athletes. Here follows the schedule:

- ore 11:30: Organizing Committee, Alfio Giomi (FIDAL president), Luigi D'Onofrio (Meeting Director)
- ore 12:00: Almaz Ayana (ETH, 5000m), Caterine Ibarguen (COL, triple jump), Justin Gatlin (USA, 100m), Wayde van Niekerk (SAF, 400m), Greg Rutherford (GBR, long jump)
- ore 12:40: Bohdan Bondarenko (UKR, high jump), Mutaz Essa Barshim (QAT, high jump), Gianmarco Tamberi (ITA, high jump), Marco Fassinotti (ITA, high jump)
