MEDIA INFORMATION

Media accreditation cards can be collected at the Press Conference Hall of the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on the following days and times (upon showing a valid identity document).

Wednesday 28th August: from 3 to 6 pm (gate Curva Sud - Via dei Gladiatori - Stadio Olimpico)

Thursday 29th August: from 9.30 am to 10 pm (gate Curva Sud - Via dei Gladiatori - Stadio Olimpico)

Only for Friday 30th August, media accreditation cards can be collected from 4 pm at Ex Ostello - Viale delle Olimpiadi, 61. The entrance to the Stadio Olimpico for Media operators is from Via dei Gladiatori (Media Entrance - Curva Sud)

Pre-meeting press conference

The traditional pre-meeting press conference will he held on Thursday 29th August from 11.30 am at the Press Conference Hall of the Stadio Olimpico (gate Curva Sud) in Rome. Some of the best athletes taking part to the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea will attend the press conference (names will be announced in the days before the meeting). Short dedicated one-to-one interviews to the athletes will be possible only for accredited international broadcasters.

Media facilities at the stadium

The following media services will be available until two hours after the end of the meeting at the Stadio Olimpico of Rome.

Media Tribune: The access is allowed to the only accredited Media on the day of the meeting. Highspeed LAN Connection for the media.

Non-rightholders mixed zone: the access is allowed to all the accredited Media.

The entire stadium will be covered by a highspeed wi-fi internet connection dedicated to the Media. To access the wi-fi network, accredited journalists and photographers must ask the desk for the password.

Paper documents will not be distributed to Media, apart from Broadcasters operating LIVE from the stadium (in any case, no results will be provided on paper).

Photo briefing

Photo bibs will be provided to accredited media during the Photo briefing, which will take place on Friday 30th August at the Stadio Olimpico at 5 pm (meeting point at the Media Centre). During the meeting, the Photo Manager will provide details on the operating procedures. To guarantee the bib, photographers will deliver their documents (Press Cards accepted), which will be kept at the desk.

Results

All accredited journalists will be provided with credentials to access the information system for real-time results. The results will also be available online on the website www.goldengala.it.
